The first time I heard a Tibetan singing bowl, I was surprised by how deeply the sound seemed to resonate—not just in the room, but in my chest. Whether I’m using it to center myself before meditation or just to bring a sense of calm into a busy day, the bowl has become a kind of anchor—a simple, beautiful tool that invites stillness in a noisy world.

In the beginning, there was the Archaeopteryx – the oldest fossil of a bird that has ever been found. When I was a child, I used to press my nose against the bulletproof glass at the Museum of Natural History in Berlin, fascinated by the imprint of this ancient creature in stone. I couldn’t quite grasp how something over 150 million years old could still be visible today. But even back then, I had this gut feeling: birds are something special. Now that I’m older, I prefer the living ones. They move, they sing, they fly. And best of all? They’re all around us.
