Join us for a full day of exploration in native forests or coastal dunes, learning how to identify edible species, understand their ecological role, and appreciate the natural beauty of autumn and winter landscapes. A perfect experience for nature lovers, photographers and curious minds.

Depending on the region chosen and the expert leading the experience, the itinerary may vary slightly, always ensuring the best local conditions and diversity of mushrooms.

We leave Porto in the morning towards the activity location. After a brief coffee stop, you’ll meet the mycology expert and start the interpretative walk in a mountain forest or coastal dune system. Along the way, you’ll learn how to identify different fungi species, understand their symbiosis with trees and hear stories about their cultural and gastronomic importance in Portugal.

We’ll take a break for a traditional lunch in a local tavern or restaurant, often featuring seasonal dishes and, whenever possible, local mushrooms.

In the afternoon, we continue the exploration in a second ecosystem (for example, a riverside valley or a different forest/dune area), offering new perspectives and species to observe.
