There are 2 possible locations to start the activity - depending on where the experts decide, if transportation is needed, it will be provided

The tour is not wheelchair accessible or recommended for people with back/knee problems and serious medical conditions.
What To Bring
Warm clothing;
Swimsuit and a towel - it's possible to shower after the activity;
Sunscreen;
Hair ties (if you have long hair);
Water: we encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle.
Important Notes
Travel Time: 1h15min each way (Porto > Arouca / Arouca > Porto)
Transportation: minivan.
If you suffer from car sickness you should take medication before the tour or bring it with you on the tour.
Infant seats are available - children must be accompanied by an adult.
Age restriction: 5 to 75 years old.
Option 1: 4km of river, approx. 2 hours, 6 class III/IV rapids.
Option 2: 7km of river, approx 2hours, 11 class III/IV rapids.
The choice is made based on what will be safest on that day.
This activity is available from November to March.
Technical difficulty levels ajusted to group.
The tour may be cancelled/rescheduled: due to bad weather conditions or if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options available, please advise at time of booking.
We need to know in advance any food or mobility restrictions.
On the day before the tour we send an email with the final details.
Cancellation Policy
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100%, if the booking is cancelled 24h or less before start time.
