About Canyoning in Peneda-Gerês National Park
On this canyoning adventure, we follow one of Portugal’s most beautiful river streams nestled in Peneda-Gerês National Park. In a small group, with specialised guides, we abseil down waterfalls and jump from rocks into crystal clear lagoons, discovering places that are otherwise unreachable.

Important Notes
Travel time 1h30 min: Porto > National Park / National Park > Porto.
Transportation: minivan.
If you suffer from car sickness you should take medication before the tour or bring it with you on the tour.
Infant seats are available - children must be accompanied by an adult.
Restriction: minimum height and weight 120 cm and 20 kg | maximum height and weight 210 cm and 115 kg.
The suits offer freedom of movement, lightness, comfort, thermal stability and water sealing.
The boots provide lightweight stability, ankle support, comfort and safety;
The canyoning activity is approx. 4 hours.
This activity is available from March to October.
The canyoning route can be adapted to level of participants.
The tour may be cancelled/rescheduled: due to bad weather conditions or if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
Lunch is not included: But we stop at a local restaurant after - a drink is around 3€ and a sandwich around 5€.

Cancellation Policy
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100%, if the booking is cancelled 24h or less before start time.

This is a must! Not just because it’s fun but it also gives you the opportunity to see a side of the national park that you would never get to on your own. The guides are professionals, canyoning is fun, the scenery is amazing and the lunch afterwards is awesome. Do it!

We booked the canyoning tour for the family and absolutely loved it. The company had top quality gear, picked us up in Porto, and provided a wonderful guide. The nature was truly beautiful and let us see some of the natural beauty of Portugal outside of the cities. The canyoning was just hard enough to be fun but not so simple that it was boring. We felt like we really had an adventure and my kids were smiling and laughing the whole time. We would definitely do this again.

We (my girlfriend and I) did a canyoning tour with Aurélio in August 2021, and we had a wonderful day! It was a great break from our week in Porto, and we enjoyed the activity, the views, and some interesting information from our guide. We were picked up at our apartment in Porto by Aurélio (included in the price!) and brought back there after a very nice lunch (not included but affordable and very much recommended by me). If you are looking for an adventurous activity near Porto, this is a must!
