Hey, I am Nina, an Erasmus intern here at Oporto Adventure Tours. From the very first day at the office in Porto, I could tell that Oporto Adventure Tours is unique. OAT organises guided tours, but it is not really about tours. OAT is not about money nor cars with big logos. No. Oporto Adventure Tours is about connecting with people, getting to know them and showing them the hearth of Portugal. I felt that from day one. This company has amazing people and some of them have become good friends already.
When I started my internship, I was really looking for a challenge. And in the beginning, I wasn't sure if Oporto could challenge me enough. But Oporto is a dynamic company, open for positive impact and change. So I started striving towards that.
I got my first real opportunity to do that, when I heard about the 10th anniversary of the Oporto Adventure Tours. There would be a gala to celebrate and my booking manager Catarina wanted a video about the company for the occasion. I immediately offered to do the video together with her. Catarina really knows the organisation and the people working for it. Together with my video editing skills, we became a dream team. We worked passionately on the video and we believe the result reflected the spirit of Oporto Adventure Tours.
I still have some time left with OAT, but I already know that I will return home with good vibes and great memories.
