Hi! I’m Anna, an Erasmus intern from Italy, and I’m currently having an incredible experience here in Portugal. From day one, it was clear to me that Oporto Adventure Tours is not only about creating memorable experiences for tourists, but also about building connections and introducing them to the authentic core of Portugal.
My time working with the team has been an exciting adventure, both personally and professionally.
It didn’t take long to see that everyone, from the office team to the energetic guides, puts their heart and soul into their work. Catarina, Luis, Renata, and Rafael have been incredibly supportive, always ready to help and collaborate, ensuring I feel comfortable and included within the team.
The company’s commitment to the local community is also something that stands out. The focus on sustainability and fostering meaningful connections with the area is truly inspiring. During my internship, I also had the opportunity to participate in two Plantation Days, which allowed me to contribute personally to this wonderful project.
I’m currently managing the company’s communication efforts, from handling social media to developing content, and I’ve found it incredibly stimulating to experience the strong openness to new ideas and the freedom to express myself.
There’s still some time left in my experience here, and I’m excited to make the most of it, continuing to learn and explore all that Portugal has to offer!
